Be strong in the Lord
A man who recently got married was teased by a colleague friend that it wouldn't take long for his wife to dominate him and their marriage will break up in no more time. The married man replied him by saying, "I don't think so, if I do what the Bible teaches me to do as a husband and likewise my wife, we will live happily ever after as married couples". The negative colleague kept silent and left shamefully. We must learn to stand strong in our daily life experiences and run the devil out off our property. Jesus said in Luke 10:19 that He has given us authority in this earth. As children of God; we have the ability to rebuke anything that is contrary to God’s plan for our lives. When we humble, obey and not opposing to the truth as written in James 4:7; the enemy will flee from us with his lies against God’s Word. The married man replied to his colleague referring to the scriptures written about marriage in Ephesians 5:21-25. Thank God for His Word which gives wisdom, knowledge, strength, council and guidance? Be strong in the Lord and stand in the power of His Word.
